As soon as we receive a notification from the office that an application has been provisionally refused for registration for lack of distinctive character, we will get a 2 month term to reply to the refusal and file our observations. We will always first notify the client or the clients’ representative before we make any additional costs. Further consultation may result in filing the observations, withdrawal of the application and/or filing a more distinctive version of the trademark with discount.
