17. Will a Certificate of Registration be issued after completion of the procedure?

Yes. As soon as the 3 month opposition period has passed without any oppositions filed by third parties, the European Trademark Office will proceed to registration. Until late 2009 paper registration certificates were issued, however since early 2010 digital registration certificates are being issued by the office in .PDF format. These are forwarded
by e-mail.
