15. What is needed to file a wordmark, devicemark or a worddevicemark for CTM Registration?

For an application of a Community Trademark the following information is needed:

1. Name and full address of the proprietor of the trademark. For a company this is the full company name (including state of corporation if applicable). For an individual person full given name and family name as well as the nationality are required for filing.

2. Trademark. For a wordmark just the mark itself in a regular letter type font is sufficient. For a pure devicemark or a worddevicemark a .jpg file is needed of approximately 800 pixels x 600 pixels. Low resolution files may result in low resolution pictures of the trademarks on the registration certificates.

3. Classification. Classes of goods and/or services to be designated in the application of the trademark.
